Other Lodging Information:

Content creation apps can be intimidating and expensive; the creation of the various media can be a daunting task. The programs used to create professional videos and mini-websites can be expensive and require hours of training and programming. Communicating your Program Priorities using media is effective yet has not been accessible to beginner users or the lay user. Adobe has created a set of FREE tools that allows for a novice to create professional and highly sharable information about the EMS Program.

Adobe Spark is your one-stop for easily creating professional-looking graphics, web pages, and videos.

This 4 HOUR workshop will give registrants an introduction of why it’s important to use images and videos to communicate their message. They will learn basic skills for structuring their messages into stories. Stories help keep the audience’s attention and garner audience by-in. Registrants will learn how to tell their stories using Adobe Spark suite of content creation tools. Participants will leave with near complete products.

Workshop registration is LIMITED TO ONE REGISTRANT PER STATE to accommodate the largest number of SP grantees and EMSC Program Managers. NEDARC reserves the right to cancel registrations for non-target audience registrants.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Program Managers will be able to create messages for their EMS agencies notifying them about the upcoming annual performance measure survey using Adobe Spark.
  2. Program Managers will be able to create messages for their ED nurse managers notifying them about the upcoming National Pediatric Readiness Assessment using Adobe Spark.
  3. Program Managers will be able to compose a message to encourage survey respondents to complete the EMSC Program surveys using Adobe Spark.
  4. Program Managers will be able to educate EMS agencies in their state about what a PECC is and why a PECC is important using Adobe Spark.
  5. Program Managers will be able to leave the workshop with near complete professional communications about the EMSC Program’s Priorities using Adobe Spark.

Target Audience:

EMSC Program Managers and EMSC Project Directors. Preference will be given to EMSC Program Managers.

Please note that if you want to attend a workshop, you need to officially register for it.

Required Equipment/Software:

Participants are required to bring a laptop with a USB port, a power cord, an external mouse, and with Wi-Fi capabilities. Please make sure that Microsoft Word 2010 or newer is installed on your laptop. Note: Adobe Spark has free applications for the Video, Page, and Post available for download on Apple mobile devices. Therefore if you have an iPad or iPhone and do not want to bring a laptop to the workshop you can use one of these mobile devices.
